Sweden’s Adam Hofstedt enjoyed a convincing victory in the Men’s Alpine Skiing Slalom at the Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG), Lausanne 2020.
Hofstedt won by 1.32 seconds. The 17-year old was lying in sixth place after his opening run. But on his second and final run Hofstedt set a time of 1:16.10 seconds, a mark the rest of the field were unable to match.
Switzerland’s Luc Roduit, bronze medallist from the Giant Slalom and the Super-G disciplines, took silver. Bronze went to Italy’s Eduardo Saracco.
