Acrobatic Gymnastics gold has gone to Bulgaria at this summer’s Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Buenos Aires 2018.

Taking to the floor last in the final, the mixed pair of Mariela Kostadinova, 17, and Panayot Dimitrov, 18, provided a routine with the joint highest difficulty awarded by the judges on the night of 1.400.

Scoring highest in both Artistic and Execution, the duo finished with a final score of 27.850 to rise to the top of the leaderboard and take gold.

Israel’s Noa Kazado Yakar and Yonatan Fridman won silver with a score of 27.590 whilst Ukraine took bronze thanks to Daryna Plokhotniuk and Oleksandr Madei’s score of 27.450.
