Australia won gold in both men’s and women’s golf events at the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018.

The stroke play events took place at the Hurlingham Club In the Argentine capital, Australia’s Kim Grace, 17, took gold with a final round score of 71, two under par for her final round.

Shooting one over par overall after three rounds, Grace comfortably finished ahead of Yuka Saso (+4) from the Philippines and Austria’s Emma Spitz (+4).

In the men’s competition, Australia’s double-gold was confirmed when Karl Vilips, 17, shot a final round 69 to finish four under par to beat Akshay Bhatia from the United States of America and the Netherlands’ Jerry Ji who claimed silver and bronze respectively.
